IN MEMORY OF GOLDIE, MY BELOVED DAUGHTER (Nov. 18, 1999 - Sept. 16, 2008) MAY YOU REST IN PEACE MY LITTLE ANGEL
Princess Goldie Girl III was her name, a spunky reddish golden with warm brown eyes whose comforting spirit transformed every sad, lonely golden we fostered into a well adjusted dog. We lost Goldie to cancer in 2008, but her spirit lives on in every golden I meet. She was my loyal and faithful companion for 11 short years and I miss terribly. This website and the work I do is dedicated to the amazing golden who forever changed my life.
I'll see you again my Angel at the Rainbow Bridge!

FOX - BELOVED FAMILY MEMBER (July 23, 1996 - June 1, 2008)
Owned by Patti and John Wiles of Las Cruces
Fox was a big beautiful gentle boy who was a full brother to my wild girl, Kelly. He loved running through the desert, occasionally stopping to dig for gophers.

 |
His caring nature was revealed on a walk along a ditch in Old Mesilla. He tugged on his leash and brought Patti’s attention to three tiny kittens. They were rescued and became part of the family. The kitties loved to cuddle with Fox and groom his face and feet.

 |
Fox was also a patient companion for Patti’s two granddaughters who dressed him up in fancy clothes and jewelry. Foxy is missed greatly by all of his canine, feline, and human friends.

MAX - BELOVED FAMILY MEMBER (1998 - 2008)
This is Max. He joined our family in late '98. Prostate cancer got him quickly in June of 2008. he was an incredibly sweet dog. He loved everybody he ever met, be they people, other dogs, rattlesnakes, cats, lizards, javelina, rabbits, etc.
|
|
 |
He hated to travel, but then when life is on top of a mesa in southern New Mexico, why would anyone want to leave?? He thought he was already in heaven (we're sure he's there now). The only thing he missed on the Mesa was water. Everybody knows Goldens need water (for swimming). Max wouldn't let me sleep much past 7:00 AM because of his requirement for a 3 or 4 mile walk behind our house every day (next buildings - Deming).

We were heartbroken when we lost him as anybody would be when losing a member of the immediate family. He can never be replaced.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF LACEY (2009-2010)
Lacey, you went through so much in your young life and you fought so hard to stay with us, but God had other plans, little angel. You were loved and are greatly missed.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF CHEYANNE (1995-2010)
Cheyanne, like an angel sent from heaven you came into our grieving hearts when we needed you the most, as if you knew the great emptiness in our hearts that needed your special kind of love. You made a place for yourself here in our hearts and home and we loved you so very much. Run and play now with Goldie and OB and all the other beloved pets, free from seizures and free from pain. Run my boy run.......I'll see you at the rainbow bridge.
Cheyanne's Story: He was surrendered by his owner at a Vet clinic because of seizures at the age of 13 and was to be returned to RaGAZ, where he was adopted from. But once he came into our lives as a long term foster, we all knew he was ours forever!
Cheyanne was a true testimony to the tenderness and ease senior goldens bring to ones life. Never under estimate the great power and wisdom of a senior golden.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF PENNY (ADOPTED in 2002 and went to the Rainbow Bridge on October 2011)
She was the sweetest, smartest, most wonderful dog I’d ever known and was my companion on many trips and to work most days. She was always ready to go anywhere, welcomed all guests whatever their species, comforted those in distress, played enthusiastically when invited. The only thing I ever knew to trouble her was on the rare occasions she wasn’t allowed to go with me to run an errand or to work. She’d express her displeasure by dumping over the kitchen trash anytime I left the house without her .

Collin aka Colonel (Rescued in 01-2011 went to the Rainbow Bridge on 11/2011)
You came to us after your best friend left for the military and no one wanted you, but we wanted you. You thanked us everyday for rescuing and never crating you as you had been for most of your life. What a waste of your life that was as you deserved so much better. What an awesome boy you were. I know you run and play now with all the others, carrying your toy as you often did. Have fun my little Angel I will see you again someday.
