IN MEMORY OF GOLDIE, MY BELOVED DAUGHTER (Nov. 18, 1999 - Sept. 16, 2008)
Princess Goldie Girl III was her name, a spunky reddish golden with warm brown eyes whose comforting spirit transformed every sad, lonely golden we fostered into a well adjusted dog. We lost Goldie to cancer in 2008, but her spirit lives on in every golden I meet. She was my loyal and faithful companion for 11 short years and I miss terribly. This website and the work I do is dedicated to the many precious moments we shared together.
See you at the Rainbow Bridge!

FOX - BELOVED FAMILY MEMBER (July 23, 1996 - June 1, 2008)
Owned by Patti and John Wiles of Las Cruces
Fox was a big beautiful gentle boy who was a full brother to my wild girl, Kelly. He loved running through the desert, occasionally stopping to dig for gophers.

His caring nature was revealed on a walk along a ditch in Old Mesilla. He tugged on his leash and brought Patti’s attention to three tiny kittens. They were rescued and became part of the family. The kitties loved to cuddle with Fox and groom his face and feet.

Fox was also a patient companion for Patti’s two granddaughters who dressed him up in fancy clothes and jewelry. Foxy is missed greatly by all of his canine, feline, and human friends.

MAX - BELOVED FAMILY MEMBER (1998 - 2008)
This is Max. He joined our family in late '98. Prostate cancer got him quickly in June of 2008. he was an incredibly sweet dog. He loved everybody he ever met, be they people, other dogs, rattlesnakes, cats, lizards, javelina, rabbits, etc.

He hated to travel, but then when life is on top of a mesa in southern New Mexico, why would anyone want to leave?? He thought he was already in heaven (we're sure he's there now). The only thing he missed on the Mesa was water. Everybody knows Goldens need water (for swimming). Max wouldn't let me sleep much past 7:00 AM because of his requirement for a 3 or 4 mile walk behind our house every day (next buildings - Deming).

We were heartbroken when we lost him as anybody would be when losing a member of the immediate family. He can never be replaced.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF LACEY (2009-2010)
Lacey, you went through so much in your young life and you fought so hard to stay with us, but God had other plans, little angel. You were loved and are greatly missed.
